故
常
無
欲
以
觀
其
妙
妙miào
means subtelty
its nature
which is subtle
the nature of the dao
or maybe some sliver
of this subtle thing
which we cannot fully perceive
and that’s why we need
to keep trying continuously (常)
because it’s hard to stay connected with this subtleness
when you get too caught up in
how much money you’re making
or your current and desired title
or how many twitter followers you have
it takes effort to
return to the empty
but the persistent
reality
dwelling in desirelessness, allows us to see the miao of the dao
hey, that rhymes!
